   Kindergarten Teacher

Hometown: Originally from the Twin Cities in Minnesota; Now I call West Wichita my home!

Education: BFA in Fine Art with minors in Religious Studies and Business Administration from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education from Butler Community College

Teaching Experience: I was an assistant teacher at Loving Arms back in 2006, and resumed in May of 2009. I am now the Kindergarten teacher for Loving Arms.

Interests: Working out - Spin class and running; Scrapbooking and reading when I have free time. I also enjoy motorcycle trips with my husband and camping trips.

Favorite Bible Passage: “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

Why you love this job: I love watching children grow and develop. It’s amazing to see how they soak up everything they’re taught.
